Monty is a little spoiled. Only a tad. He’s got 2 types of wet food (one of weight loss, another as a turkey treat), 3 kinds of dry food (indoor, anti-hairball, dental), 3 types of treats (temptations, greenies dental treats, salmon jerky and sometimes bonito flakes–fish oil for his coat), a water fountain and two bowls to drink water from, two types of grooming tools (slicker brush and the furminator) and numerous toys. He, however, did not have his own furniture. Instead, he rubbed up and shed fur on all of mine until I picked up a cat lounger for him at Pet Food ‘n More on Oak and 16th.

I should be thankful that Monty doesn’t scratch anything to trim his claws. I got the lounger since it has woven sisal and I was hoping he’d start scratching it (instead of having to cut his nails all the time). Bryce was doubtful he’s make use of it, but he’s been proven wrong (hah ha!).

See below the four ways he likes to lounge on it. He’s a creative one!

OMG, that thing is amazing, how much was it?!

  2. It was really cheap. I believe it was about $15 or 19. No more than $20 as I recall. It’s on the highest shelf by the aisle with the cat litter scoopers and across from the wet foods. :) Take pictures with Moby! I always find it interesting how every cat makes use of their furniture differently.
